_ FAQ’s
_How does it work?
At the heart of the fountain is a rotating auger (corkscrew) that gently lifts the molten chocolate from the base to the height of the fountain. It then cascades over the tiers back into the base for visual effect and your enjoyment.
What can I dip in the chocolate?
Please see our dips page for a list. We like to avoid crumbling foods, such as cake and biscuits because they can spoil the visual effect. They disrupted the smooth flow of the chocolate but, because it’s your day, we'll provide what you request.
Do I have to assemble it?
Only if it’s a Dry Hire. For the full package hire you don’t have to do anything-we do it all! We also offer our support in other aspects of hire.
Why would I want it?
Simply because The chocolate fountain brings novelty to your event, it is a stunning centrepiece, it supports conversation and because we turn nice events into unforgetable experiences.
How much is it?
This depends on what you want. Just see our prices page for a complete list.
How far do you travel?
We are based near Bexleyheath, Kent. We’ll happily discuss any travel arrangements with you.
How is the fountain presented?
Please see our galleries page for inspiration. We present the Personal Package in any colour scheme, or personal theme, that you require.
Can the fountain be used outside?
The fountain is at its best when used inside. If it is to be used outside, consideration should be given to preventing flying insects that are attracted to the sweet smell (Bug dips anyone?) Also, the chocolate needs to be kept warm to circulate, any breeze can make this difficult to maintain and a stronger breeze can blow the chocolate outside of the bowl.
What chocolate do you use?
We supply the finest Belgian couverature chocolate; the amount depends on the fountain hired. Please see our Chocolate Info page
What is couverature chocolate?

How do you melt the chocolate?
With great care!!!!! For larger rentals we melt it in a microwave, with frequent stirring, to give it a rich texture. There are other ways; including using the fountain, details can be found on our Chocolate Info page
Is the chocolate included?

How long can it run?
